Re-instatement of the MPFOct.2, 2003Just hours after the deadline for the expiration of the MPF, HR 3146 was signed by President Bush, extending authority for CBP to collect these fees through March 31, 2004. In the event that entries were submitted without this payment, there will be a future update regarding the retroactive collection of these fees. Today, our software was update to comply with these changes. You will see this change on entry summaries with a date of 10/2/03 or later. Please check back here often, to learn about any further changes. |
