Are you paying duty based on the invoice value of your shipments?

It is important to use the proper methods for determining the net-entered value of your shipments. The invoice is just the beginning of the process. You must than add and or deduct amounts, for such items as freight, assists, rebates, royalties, etc.

Our team will examine your import documentation to insure that you are paying duties on the proper invoice amounts as set forth in the Customs Valuation Encyclopedia. In many cases people are paying the wrong amount of duties because they are not calculating certain factors into their invoices. This is a severe breach compliance regulations and is one of the first things that Customs will look for in an audit.
