Labor Lock-out at West Coast Ports

Sunday night, The Pacific Maritime Association extended the lock-out of union longshorement (ILWU), after production levels fell to a level that was near a total work stoppage.
- 100 vessels were stranded on Sunday, with additional vessels arriving on Monday, causing great delays during the Peak Shipping season.
- Employers have not placed orders for labor on Monday morning, pending negotiations.
- ILWU agreed to return to the bargaining table at 2 P.M
